Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez has dropped out of the starting XI for today’s clash against Nottingham Forest.
The Argentina No. 1 has been replaced by Marco Bizot, who is set to make his fifth Premier League start of the season.
Martinez had featured in Villa’s last 15 league matches but has missed two games through injury, as well as the opening fixture of the campaign against Newcastle.
The only other league match he missed was against Crystal Palace, amid uncertainty over his future heading into the September transfer deadline.
Bizot has kept six clean sheets across all competitions this season, with Villa winning seven of the 12 matches in which he has featured.
