Chelsea welcome title-chasing Manchester City to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Blues beat Port Vale 7-0 in their last match but had lost four consecutive games across all competitions prior to that victory, and head coach Liam Rosenior will be desperate to see his side pick up all three points against the Citizens.
City, meanwhile, are nine points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal but have two games-in-hand over the Gunners and also host Mikel Arteta’s side later this month.
Ahead of the match on Sunday, it has emerged that Chelsea are one of two Premier League sides showing particular interest in an in-form striker.
According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea and Liverpool are both monitoring Bournemouth youngster Eli Kroupi Jr, who has been in fine form this season.
The Frenchman netted his tenth Premier League goal of the season on Saturday as the Cherries defeated Arsenal 2-1, denting the Gunners’ title hopes.

Kroupi joined Bournemouth from French side Lorient early last year but spent the second half of last term on loan with the Ligue 1 side, before moving to the south coast last summer.
The 19-year-old is enjoying a fine debut season in England, taking his tally for the season to double figures when he scored in Bournemouth’s 2-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday.
It is claimed that both Chelsea and Liverpool hold concrete interest in the youngster and are already plotting moves to sign the teenager this summer.
Having only joined the Cherries last year, though, Kroupi is contracted to the club until the end of the 2029/30 season.
Kroupi is said to be high on Chelsea’s list of possible transfer targets as they look to bolster Rosenior’s squad in attack this summer, particularly amid Liam Delap’s struggles.
