The Blues did the double over the Canaries for the first time in 33 years, and find themselves second in the Championship table, two points clear of Millwall, with two games in hand.
The Lions and fourth-placed Middlesbrough both dropped points again this weekend, leaving Town with the inside track to an immediate promotion back to the top tier.
And Chambers, who was part of the Sky Sports panel who covered the game yesterday, agreed with another ex-Blue, Darren Ambrose, who said the win had essentially sealed second spot.

“Yeah, especially now the way the results have gone over the last week or so," Chambers opined.
“The performance today really told me a story in terms of how they might approach these remaining away games – they’ve gone at it toe-to-toe with teams and that’s probably not worked out as well away from home.
“They’ve got some massive games ahead and more games than anyone else.
“To have it in their hands now… I sensed from Kieran McKenna’s interview and even his reaction afterwards, it seems like he feels they are in real control now, whereas before it was looking a little bit fractured.
“I think they’re in a fantastic position, and it would be a brave man to back against them now.”
