Liverpool are preparing a surprise move to sign Bournemouth rising star Eli Junior Kroupi this summer, according to reports.
The Anfield side have ‘very concrete interest’ in the 19-year-old Frenchman and are reportedly prepared to rival Chelsea for his signature after the season.
Kroupi has been in highly promising form since joining Bournemouth last year, scoring 10 goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season, including netting the Cherries’ first in their 2-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday.
Bournemouth are believed to be open to a sale and could demand up to £60m for the 19-year-old as they look to make a significant profit, having signed him from Lorient for just £12m in 2025.

According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool are among the clubs preparing a move for Kroupi after the season and have ‘very concrete’ interest in the 'generational' Frenchman amid his breakout Premier League campaign.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes’ strong relationship with his former club could play a part in their pursuit, with Kroupi now potentially seen as Bournemouth’s next big departure.
The Cherries sold forward Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City for £64m in January and parted ways with defenders Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kerkez for a combined £147m last summer.
The futures of both defender Marcos Senesi and midfielder Alex Scott have also been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with the former attracting interest from a host of Premier League clubs ahead of his contract expiry.
Scott, who was also on the scoresheet at the Emirates on Saturday, is reportedly a target for Manchester United, who are looking to reinforce their midfield with new signings this summer.
Tottenham Reach Andy Robertson Agreement
Liverpool's Andy Robertson
Liverpool are gearing up for another busy offseason as both defender Andy Robertson and forward Mohamed Salah head towards the exit door.
The Scottish international is believed to have reached a verbal agreement to join Tottenham Hotspur, provided the north London side avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Robertson was linked with a move to Spurs in January, but Liverpool refused to entertain an exit as they were unable to secure a replacement in time.
The left-back has been behind summer signing Milos Kerkez in Arne Slot’s pecking order for much of the season, making just seven Premier League starts and a further 13 appearances from the bench.
