Hill was once again outstanding at centre back alongside Marcos Senesi, and was one of the standouts of the game at the Emirates.
The Englishman has been on imperious form and has been a key part of the team as they have gone 12 games unbeaten in the league, to set a new club record.

Reflecting on the game, Hill told the Daily Echo: “We work hard for these moments.
“I think we've been drilling it into ourselves each week and you've seen the performances from previous games.

“Obviously, we missed out on a couple of wins, but I think the consistency and the mentality not to lose games and to keep pushing, I think it shows today where we want to get to as a team.
“And yeah, it just puts us in good stead going into the next one now.”
Hill came into the team after Christmas following a big defeat to Brentford, when the team was leaking goals.
Since, they have massively improved defensively, and Hill’s partnership with Marcos Senesi has been central to that.
Bournemouth were brilliant at the back on Saturday, with the victory built on a more-than-solid defensive performance.
“I think obviously you've seen since Christmas time, I think we've improved massively,” he said.

“We've had a lot of clean sheets leading up to this game.
“I think they got a bit lucky with the penalty because the shot's taken from so close and it doesn't give Ryan [Christie] enough time to react, to get his arms out of the way and he's in a natural position and unfortunately just because it's raised above the head, they've given the penalty for it.
“But I think throughout the game the back line were relentless.
“We defended one-v-ones and we defended as a unit as well from top to bottom and we put a really good press on.

“So, credit to the team, credit to the staff. They really executed the game plan for us today.”
While it was a big result that puts them well in the European race, Hill said the team knows they must quickly put it behind them and focus on the games to come.
“I think obviously now, a great result today, but we've got to put that to bed now,” he said.
“I think we've got to be focusing on the next game because we can only go one game at a time.
“We'll enjoy it today, but as soon as today's finished, we'll drop it and we're on to the next one. And it's about getting a result in the next game if we want to get something really good this season.”
