Coventry City have just a few more days to prepare for what could be an historic day in the football club's history, needing just one more point to mathematically confirm their promotion back to the Premier League.
The return has been 25 years in the waiting and that moment is hoped to come on Friday night when Frank Lampard's men will be backed by a 7,000 plus travelling Sky Blue Army who are making the trip to Blackburn. The club are already effectively secured a top two finish by virtue of their vastly superior goal difference over Milwall - the only club outside the automatic spots that can match their points tally with four games left to play.
City have a relatively clean bill of health ahead of the trip to Ewood Park with Jack Rudoni, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Bobby Thomas having all recovered from their respective recent injuries. Rudoni and Thomas-Asante started against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend while centre-half Thomas was an unused sub for the goalless CBS Arena draw.

There was one big miss on the day, however, with winger Tatsuhiro Sakamoto out with a rib injury suffered against Hull on Easter Monday. The 29-year-old's attacking influence on the right was sadly lacking in a frustrating afternoon against the Owls, after which Lampard said: "The way Tats is playing, no disrespect to anyone else, but the way Tats naturally plays on that side of the pitch and the way he’s been playing recently, he was missed."
Asked about his condition and whether he could be available to return against Blackburn on Friday night (8pm), the head coach refused to give too much away other than to say: "He's sore."
