Former Wolves defender Kevin Foley has picked up a piece of silverware having moved into coaching following the end of his playing days.

The Irish defender played over 200 times for Wolves - having signed for the club from Luton Town.

He enjoyed title winning seasons in the Championship and League One before going on to make a move to Copenhagen.

After that Foley featured for a number of EFL teams before last turning out for Billericay Town.

He first made a move into coaching in the US alongside former Wolves team mate Neil Collins at Tampa Bay Rowdies.

And then his first job in England was alongside another ex-Wolves team mate in Rob Edwards, helping Forest Green Rovers to win the League Two title.

In September 2022, he went into non-league, linking up with ex-Birmingham City defender Roger Johnson at Brackley Town.

And he then went full circle, joining the staff at Luton under Edwards in July 2023.

He moved up to become a first team coach under Jack Wilshire, and he now has a trophy as a coach to add to those as a player.

Luton picked up the EFL Trophy on Sunday as they beat Stockport County.
