Everton have reportedly generated £2.9million from the sale of Everton Way stones at Hill Dickinson Stadium up to June 2025.
The move from Goodison Park to Hill Dickinson Stadium marked a new and exciting era in the history of Everton Football Club, offering a glimpse into what the future could look like.
It also brought with it more opportunities to source new revenue streams, and generate more income for the coffers.
One of those fresh ideas was to do with the Everton Way stones, where fans can leave personal messages and tributes on bricks outside the stadium.
The expansion of this project was announced back in May 2024, and now Everton’s financial rewards for doing so have been revealed.

Hill Dickinson Stadium is generating considerable money for Everton during its inaugural season as the Toffees’ home of the future.
Everton decision-makers are constantly looking for more ways to make more money from their shining new stadium, which has already been seen through hosting international friendlies, as well as other sports entirely in the future.

So, whilst the expansion of Everton Way to enable more fans to purchase engraved stones wasn’t the biggest commercial decision made regarding the new stadium, it was one of the most personal and important ones.
It allows supporters the opportunity to immortalise their names, or that of loved ones, outside Hill Dickinson Stadium forever, offering fans the chance to incorporate a new segment to their matchday rituals as well.
And now, according to an X post from respected Everton reporter Paul Quinn on Monday, he claims that the project has generated an additional £2.9m in revenue up until June 2025.

Hill Dickinson Stadium doesn’t just give Everton a fancy new home to play in as well as getting more fans through the turnstiles, it provides them with almost endless commercial opportunities too.
We’ve seen Tottenham do this with their new stadium too, as they’ve dipped into the growing American Football phenomena in this country and across Europe, and have been hosting NFL (National Football League) games since 2019.
That’s helped bring in significant revenue to Spurs’ coffers, and so this is perhaps something Everton chiefs should also explore too.
But, whilst bigger and grander projects such as that may be on the way in the coming years, it’s also crucial that smaller and more intimate ones such as the Everton Way stones don’t become an afterthought either.
