**With the emphatic 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday the Hammers climbed out of the relegation zone and remained there after other results.**
The 4-0 win thanks to doubles from both Konstantinos Mavropanos and Taty Castellanos meant the Hammers moved out of the bottom three for the first time since matchday fourteen.
Yet another defeat for Tottenham Hotspur at the hands of Sunderland meant that win was enough to keep us out of the relegation zone, meaning Premier League survival is now in our own hands, something that didn’t look possible just a few weeks ago.
Not only did the Spurs result go our way, so did the Nottingham Forest one, they drew 1-1 with Aston Villa, a loss obviously would have been better, but the Reds played well, so it could have been worse.
Leeds face United tonight, so a win for the Red Devils would help us dramatically also. But for now, the Hammers are out of the relegation zone and it’s really good to see.
All we have to do now is better, match or be within two points of Spurs’ points tally for for rest of the season and we will be a Premier League side once again next term.
