Smiles returned to Liverpool fans after the 2-0 win over Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday, but now comes the business of trying to overturn what happened in Paris.
The 2-0 defeat in the first leg of the Reds' Champions League quarter-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain would have been much worse if the European champions had their shooting boots on, but as it is the door has just been left ajar for the Reds to mount an improbable comeback.
Arne Slot will certainly hope they do anyway, with the Reds boss no doubt hoping that European progression will ease the pressure on his position somewhat.
Slot and Dominik Szoboszlai will be in position to answer questions about the game from the media at around 3.30pm this afternoon, and you can follow the very latest with us.
