Manchester United youngster Victor Musa has been nominated for the Premier League’s under-21 player of the month award.
Victor Musa has enjoyed a resurgence in recent weeks for Manchester United’s under-21 side.
The 19-year-old striker has now been nominated for the March player of the month award at Premier League 2 level.

How Victor Musa’s season finally took off
Victor Musa was only a bit-part player for Manchester United’s under-21 side in the first half of the season, starting only two league games before the end of December.
After Gabriele Biancheri was sent out on loan, more opportunities opened up for Musa, and he opened his account for the season.
Musa scored three vital goals in the month of March, earning his nomination for the award.
Two goals in 2-1 victory over Southampton
One goal in 1-0 victory over Reading
Musa continued his goalscoring in April with the team’s only strike in the 3-1 defeat to Newcastle.
United have finished in second place in the PL2, ahead of the playoff competition, with the top 16 of 24 teams competing to win the title.

Victor Musa was one of the young players invited to train with Manchester United’s first team squad in the Republic of Ireland.
This selection was a double-edged sword, as it meant that he was also overlooked for the Premier League International Cup tie against Real Madrid.
Whichever way you look at it, he responded in the right way by scoring for the under-21s in the subsequent fixture on Friday.
Musa faces a real fight to make it at United, but the past few weeks have been productive, and the award nomination will give him confidence.
