Man Utd will be without a key player when they face Leeds United in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old has been a key figure under Michael Carrick but will not be available when United host their fierce rivals at Old Trafford on Monday night. United are back in action after a 24-day break between fixtures when they drew 2-2 with AFC Bournemouth on Friday 20 March.
Manchester World understand Mainoo has suffered a minor injury and it was decided he could not be involved for the clash against Leeds. United are third in the Premier League table with seven matches left and are well-placed to secure Champions League qualification at the end of the campaign.
