Carlos Mac Allister, the father of Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, is a former footballer turned politician, and was even given a Rolex by Diego Maradona, before he subsequently lost it.
During the 80s and 90s, Carlos Mac Allister was plying his trade in Argentina, spending the majority of his career with Boca Juniors.
Like his son, Carlos Mac Allister represented his country, but he only made three appearances for the national team.
The now-57-year-old didn't follow the path that many do following their football career, such as punditry or coaching, and instead became a politician.
Despite not hitting the heights that his son has in the game, not many can say they were given a Rolex by Maradona or that they played football with his brother.

Carlos started his footballing career with Argentinos Juniors, playing 120 games for the club before his move to Boca Juniors.
The big move led to him being called up to play for his country, featuring three times for the national team across friendlies and World Cup qualification.
Carlos went on to play for both Racing Club and Ferro Carril Oeste before retirement, with politics coming later in life.
During his time at Argentinos Juniors, Carlos played with the brother of Maradona, El Turco, which somehow led to him being gifted a gold Rolex, he previously revealed in a conversation with EL PAIS.
"I played with his brother, El Turco, in the Argentinos Juniors soccer club. I was one of the players he pampered. He [Maradona] once gave me a gold Rolex."

When asked what happened to the Rolex, Carlos revealed that he had it stolen at gunpoint after leaving a stadium, while the watch was valued at over $5000.
"It was stolen from me – when I was leaving the stadium one night, thieves broke my car window and pointed a gun at me… I handed it over. I think it was worth more than $5,000."
