For some time now, speculation has surrounded a possible summer move for Noah Atubolu, with the SC Freiburg goalkeeper reportedly open to a transfer at the end of the season.
According to Sky Germany, Brighton & Hove Albion are seriously considering a move for the German shot-stopper, seeing him as a potential replacement for Bart Verbruggen, who himself could take the next step in his career.
However, Brighton could face strong competition for Atubolu, with the report stating that an unnamed Bundesliga top-five club is also in the race for his signature.
Previously, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen have been reported to be monitoring the 23-year-old Freiburg goalkeeper.
Noah Atubolu’s contract runs until the summer of 2027. If he's not interested in signing an extension, SC Freiburg could be tempted to cash in on him at the end of the season.
