Matz Sels kept his place in goal for Nottingham Forest, and right now, he looks like the club’s Premier League stopper.
In midweek, Stefan Ortega played as Forest drew 1-1 with Porto and the German might return for the second leg this week.
Sels made several quality stops to thwart Aston Villa as they pushed for a winner against Forest during the latest 1-1 draw for the Reds.
After the game, however, the Belgian praised his Forest teammate, Ibrahim Sangare, after another strong performance from the Ivory Coast international.

Matz Sels raves about Ibrahim Sangare after Forest draw
Earlier in the season, when Sangare headed to the AFCON, Forest were hapless, and Sean Dyche went on an alarming run of form without the Ivorian.
Sangare has been in standout form this season and has now more than justified his £30 million price tag after a number of years where his form has deserted him a little bit.
After the game with Villa, Sels posted the words ‘Trop Fort’ on his Instagram and in French, that translates to too strong, which does sum up the performance of Sangare.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Sangare brings stability to the Forest team, and ultimately, he’s going to be a huge player for the club between now and the end of the season.
Sels is speaking on behalf of the fan base when he raves about Sangare, and it’s pretty unanimous now just how much he’s rated among the fan base.
Consistency has been Sangare’s biggest issue in the past, but in recent months, Forest have looked a lot better with the midfielder in full flight and Vitor Pereira is another manager who recognises his brilliance.
