A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid is set to return to starting duties on the continent on Wednesday night.
The player in question? Jude Bellingham.
England international Bellingham was for his part forced to watch on from the bench from the off last week, as Real Madrid locked horns with Bayern Munich in the first leg of a Champions League quarter-final tie.
This comes after a long-term spell on the sidelines for the former Borussia Dortmund man.
Bellingham was then afforded his first start since all the way back in early February over the weekend, in a La Liga clash with Girona.
And if the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, as much is set to be swiftly followed by another start for the 22-year-old on Wednesday evening.
As per a report from **[Marca](https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2026/04/13/bellingham-muchas-cuentas-pendientes-bayern.html)**, with Aurélien Tchouaméni suspended:
‘The Girona game served as a rehearsal for the Allianz Arena. Because it’s clear that Bellingham will start against Bayern Munich.’
