Liverpool are among the clubs linked with RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande.

Liverpool transfer target Yan Diomande insists he is not stressing over his future.

The winger has been in prolific form during his maiden season at Red Bull Leipzig. Diomande fired his 12th goal of the season to earn the Saxony outfit a 1-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach last weekend.

The 19-year-old’s performances and impact in the Bundesliga have come as a surprise to plenty. But given Diomande’s impact, it is not a shock that he has plenty of suitors hovering. Liverpool are among the clubs interested, especially with Mo Salah bringing the curtain down on his Anfield career at the end of the season.

However, Diomande says that his focus is on delivering for Leipzig, who are fourth in the German table. Via Africa Foot, he said: “I’m here, and first and foremost, I’m healthy and working hard every day. Hearing these rumours about big clubs like PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool, and others interested in me gives me even more motivation to work. I keep smiling, stay upbeat, and keep pushing forward. My job is on the pitch, and I’m fully committed to my current club. As for the rest, I have a team that takes care of everything; I don’t stress about it. I play for Leipzig and enjoy it.”

Despite Leipzig earning victory over Mönchengladbach, the club’s sporting director, Rouven Schröder, couldn’t help but lavish praise on the Ivory Coast international. Schroder said: "I don't think anyone would have predicted that Diomande would develop into such a superstar player. It's a game-changer.”

Leipzig reported value Diomande at around £85 million, having bought him for just £18 million from Spanish side CD Leganes last summer. While Die Roten Bullen are used to selling their prized assets, with Liverpool purchasing Dominik Szoboszlai, Ibrahima Konate and Naby Keita in recent years, it has been suggested they are not willing to part ways with Diomande this summer.

Sky Sports Germany recently reported that Leipzig are willing to hand Diomande a pay rise, while the likes of defender Castello Lukeba could be offloaded.
