Rob Edwards insists he is focused on giving Wolves a positive end to the season and is paying no attention to how the club could impact the relegation picture for other clubs.
The defeat to West Ham has left Wolves on the brink of relegation and they could officially drop to the Championship this weekend if results go against them.
Wolves play relegation-threatened Leeds and Spurs in their next two games, as well as Burnley on the final day, but Edwards is not interested in how Wolves could impact other clubs and is instead focused on ending their season well.
"It might prove to be that way but it's not something that I'm thinking about, where we could decide things,” he said.
"I'm just trying to think about us and get as many points as possible.
"Along the way, if we're able to get some points, then it's inevitable it's going to affect others. But it's not something that's in my thinking. I'm purely thinking about us.
"I want the best for Wolves because it's so, so important that we take real good momentum and continue to try and improve.
"We will fight and we will give our best and try and win every game all the way to the end of that 38th game, which we have to do. That won't change.”
