James Perch predicts how many points Nottingham Forest will get in final six Premier League…

Nottingham Forest have six Premier League games left to save themselves from the real possibility of relegation.

Right now, it’s Tottenham who sit in the bottom three, with Burnley and Wolves seemingly all but relegated to the Championship next season.

🔢How many points do Forest take from this run of fixtures…

Forest have given themselves a lifeline in recent weeks with positive performances against Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Now, with the run-in on the horizon, James Perch has had his say on how many points he thinks Forest will get this season.

James Perch predicts 11 points in final six games for Forest

Perch is Forest through and through after coming through the academy and forming part of the first-team picture for a number of years.

He actually thinks Forest will secure survival at a canter, with a number of points on the horizon for the Reds in his honest opinion.

He said on the Forest Focus podcast: “Whilst we’ve been talking there, I’ve just been adding up the potential points. It’s impossible, but I’ve tried to do it.

“I think we get three points against Burnley, then it’s Sunderland away, they’ve done really well, overachieved, but just don’t think they’ve scored enough goals. I certainly wouldn’t go up there thinking we’re going to get battered or anything. I think a point, so that’s four.

Then it’s Chelsea away, tough game, you never know though, they’re on a tough run, and you don’t know which Chelsea will turn up. So, say we get beaten at Chelsea, that’s still four points.

“Newcastle are terrible away from home at the minute. So, I’d say we’re going to win that. That’s seven, then it’s Man United away, we’ve done well there the last two seasons. Take a point, that’s eight. Bournemouth at home, last day, three points, that’s eleven and we’ve walked it”

“There are some tough games, but I don’t think there are any that I’m dreading or anything.”

Forest have to keep believing and since their last defeat in the Premier League to Brighton, the Reds have kicked on and become more resolute under Vitor Pereira.

Taking 11 points might be difficult for Forest to achieve, but there are some good players in the dressing room who could be the difference this season.

Perch is right to take a confident outlook on things and with Burnley and Sunderland to come next, Forest have a genuine chance of pulling clear of their rivals in the coming weeks.
