The latest Liverpool great to hang up his boots at Anfield, Andy Robertson, has no shortage of suitors for a summer move.
With the World Cup around the corner, Robertson wants to find a new club soon and not have it hanging over him when he captains Scotland at the tournament. He has already been linked heavily with Spurs, but Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Juventus as well.
The latest links include another Serie A side and two clubs much closer to home, one of which offers the opportunity to reunite with a former Liverpool teammate — Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Andy Robertson wanted by AC Milan, Rangers and Celtic
According to a report from Sportmediaset, AC Milan are the latest club to show interest in Robertson as he prepares to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. The attraction is obvious, a proven left-back with huge experience, still available on a free, and still more than capable of performing at the highest level.
For Robertson, he would stay in one of Europe’s major leagues, join a huge club, and get the chance to remind everyone that he is still good enough for the top level.
Back in Scotland, Rangers are also in the picture. The report says both sides of the Old Firm are “making attempts”, which tells you there is genuine interest in bringing Robertson home this summer.
That alone would make this one of the more interesting transfer stories of the window. Robertson has built his reputation at the very top of the game, so any return to Scotland would be huge news, especially with both Glasgow clubs seemingly alert to the opportunity.

Celtic, though, may have one extra pull that Rangers cannot offer.

Oxlade-Chamberlain officially joined the Hoops in February, so a move to Parkhead would open the door to a Klopp-era reunion with a player Robertson knows well from Liverpool.
Robertson has the love of Liverpool fans wherever he chooses to go next. Whether he ends up at Milan, Rangers or Celtic, there are still a couple of years of top-level play in those legs.
Serie A could be the best move for Andy Robertson
The pull of the Italian League for an older player is clear. The slower pace and of course, thee lifestyle, are very appealing to stars winding their career down.
Just look at Kevin De Bruyne and Luka Modric, who arrived in Serie A last summer. They are thriving.
Robertson is a good shot younger than those two, and I can actually see him looking physically superior to many of the right-backs he would be running at.
