Erling Haaland took to social media with a two-word response following Leeds United's win over Manchester United. Noah Okafor netted both goals for the visitors, who capitalised on a Lisandro Martinez red card for the hosts.

Casemiro pulled one back, but Leeds were able to hold on to take all three points back to Elland Road. The loss was just Man United's second under interim boss Michael Carrick.

Following the final whistle, Leeds-born, Manchester City striker Haaland posted on Snapchat, sharing a photograph of Okafor at full-time alongside the caption: "Get in."

The striker, appears to be revelling in the victory of the club his father Alf-Inge once represented. The win was the Whites' first league victory at Old Trafford since 1981.

Okafor appeared to get somewhat carried away during his celebrations, swearing directly into the TV camera. As the camera zoomed in on him, the Switzerland international shouted: "Let's go! For f****'s sake, come on!"

The win means that Leeds opened up a six-point gap between them and the relegation zone, a big boost to their hopes of playing Premier League football again next season.

Speaking after the match, Daniel Farke told Leeds' website: “I am of course very proud, It feels of course outstanding, especially under the circumstances – crunch time period of the season, a bit under pressure playing the last fixture of the game day, we also didn’t have the easiest week.

“Key players out, Anton Stach, Joe Rodon, Daniel James, also several other key players have a difficult week in terms of training in Gabi Gudmundsson, Jaka Bijol and Noah Okafor.

“I think the key was today to be brave and to play on the front foot because if you just try to park the bus and just try to survive somehow and suffer here, there is no chance to travel away with points at Old Trafford.

“We wanted to dominate as many periods as possible, also in possession, and I think we were brave in our pressing. First half was excellent.

“We could have been easily three or four-nil up until now. Also started really well into the second half but of course also, we are not the finished end product.

Leeds are back in action on Saturday, when they return to Elland Road to take on bottom-of-the-table Wolves (3pm kick-off).
