Everton have finally seen another club punished for the same offence as Michael Keane’s red card against Wolves.
Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez was sent off for accidentally pulling Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hair on Monday evening.
This comes just months after Keane was sent off against Wolves for accidentally clutching Tolu Arokodare’s hair.
Why always Everton? 😡

David Moyes was left furious by Keane’s sending off on the night, with Keane handed a three-game suspension for violent conduct.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher slammed the decision to send Martinez off on Monday evening.

“I don’t think any football fan, I don’t think anybody – any football manager, any player watching that at home, is sitting there thinking, ‘Yeah, I think that’s a red card’,” said Carragher.
The uproar across the media has been on a different level to what was witnessed following Keane’s sending off for Everton.
Moyes slammed Everton’s rejected appeal against Keane’s red card, which leaves the Premier League with a clear example of how Martinez’s suspension should be approached.
The Manchester United manager and captain have both put pressure on the parties involved, with United expected to appeal the decision.
Given Everton saw their appeal denied, any change for Man United would not go down well on Merseyside.
