Victory sets up a first round play-off date with Newport.
Ben Freeman scored a hat-trick of tries as a scintillating second half saw Stourbridge beat Bridgnorth and book their Regional One Midlands play-off place.
Stour headed into the final round of fixtures knowing a bonus-point win would almost certainly be required to hold on to third place in the table.
And their fate was in the balance when visitors Bridgnorth went into an early 10-5 lead at Stourton Park.
But Freeman scored his first of the day to ensure the home side had their noses in front at the break, before scoring another two tries in the opening 13 minutes of the second half to blow the game open.
Stour cruised to victory from that point, racking up eight tries in total to end up 52-17 winners and book a first round play-off date at Newport on April 25.
Lichfield finished sixth in the table after rounding off their season with a 40-19 win over Dudley Kingswinford, who face relegation to Regional Two.
Walsall are aiming to replace DK at the higher level and dealt an early psychological blow to their first-round play-off opponents Melbourne, on the final day of the Regional Two North campaign.
The two sides will meet again in Walsall on Saturday in a knockout fixture and it is the hosts, who finished third in the table, who will go into it with confidence after a 29-19 win.
Tries late in the first half from Dean Ainger and Adam Tamillio put Walsall into the lead and though the visitors fought back, early in the second period, a strong finish saw the home side take the victory.
Max Brown ran in front 20 yards, before George Hill completed a good passing move to put the result beyond doubt.
Stourbridge Lions face a huge battle to beat the drop from Counties One West (North) after losing 26-5 at Spartans.
The defeat, coupled with a win for Aston Old Edwardians at Burntwood, means the Lions are now seven points from safety with just two matches left to play. Ollie Lynch scored Stour’s only try of the game.
Stafford were given a huge scare before escaping bottom of the table Newcastle with a win in Counties Two West (West).
Two tries from Dan Watts and further scores from Rob Jones, Tom Barker, Jack Raine and Spencer Latham appeared to have the visitors on course for a huge win as they led 40-0 just after half-time.
But the home side came battling back, scoring five tries of their own to claim two bonus points and leave Stafford sweating, before eventually seeing out a 40-33 win.
Stafford are destined to finish fifth but there is big drama at either end of the table, with a 14-3 win for Willenhall over rivals Clee Hill keeping their title hopes very much alive.
Willenhall remain fourth but are just two points behind new leaders Trentham, with Ashbourne also firmly in the mix.
At the other end of the table, meanwhile, Wolverhampton boosted their survival hopes with a 62-12 win at Longton.
Rugeley claimed a big win in Counties Three West (North) as they held off Lichfield seconds for a 35-31 victory.
Bloxwich won 19-3 at Wednesbury in Counties Four West (North), while Essington were edged out 39-38 in a thriller against Trentham seconds.
