Everton are expected to recruit from the Championship this summer transfer window.
David Moyes, speaking last year, made it very clear that Everton would be scouting players from the second tier.
“We continue to look closer to home, which is the Championship,” the Toffees manager stated.
“Last year, the Championship produced some incredible players like (Morgan) Rogers, (Adam) Wharton, (Jaden) Philogene possibly.
“The Championship is always a place we should be looking to see.”

Everton told they’ll need to pay £15m to sign Imran Louza
According to Africa Foot, it’s very possible that Everton will make a formal move to sign Louza when the window opens.
The Watford midfielder has registered a whopping 17 goal contributions this term and has been described as one of the Championship’s ‘most feared’ (EFL website) players.
The report further states that the Toffees have been informed of Louza’s non-negotiable £15m price tag.

Everton chiefs believe that’s too pricey, so there could be a stalemate between the two clubs on the horizon.
Louza’s preference is to join a Premier League club, so perhaps he could force through a move and lower the price.
There has been interest from Saudi Pro League sides Al-Ittihad and Al Qadsiah, and they are willing to meet Watford’s £15m demand.
However, Louza has already turned down a move to Saudi Arabia, giving Everton a boost in their pursuit of the 14-cap Morocco international.
Premier League rivals Fulham are also reportedly in the race to land his signature.
