The Canada international has spent the season on loan at PNE

Daniel Jebbison admits it will be a shame to leave Preston North End this summer.

The striker will see his season-long loan spell from AFC Bournemouth expire - Jebbison has two years left to run on his contract with the Cherries. With four matches left to play at PNE, the front man has scored six goals in 36 appearances, assisting two more.

It has been a significant year in his development, with this year having seen Jebbison play as regularly as any prior. That is proven by the fact Preston is the club, already, he has made played the most games for.

Jebbison represented Sheffield United’s first team on 35 occasions, Burton Albion 23 and Watford 13, while playing 21 games for Bournemouth to date. After last weekend’s win at Charlton, the forward touched on his immediate future.

Speaking to iFollow PNE, he said: “I’ve loved every bit of it. This was my first loan where I've actually been playing and enjoying myself. The boys make it so much easier for you. When you're in a good dressing room, it makes your life so much easier.

“I feel like I am a permanent here and I am signed here but unfortunately, I am going to have to go back to my parent club. But, that’s for good reasons as well. Overall, it's been an amazing experience.

“It's not done yet so I’m just going to enjoy my days here. From the minute I got here (I felt love from the supporters) and I am seeing it now. We just need to keep performing for them and for ourselves.”
