Watch as Leeds United fans create brilliant Noah Okafor chant after Man Utd heroics

The Old Trafford match-winner has written himself into Leeds United history.

Leeds United’s Old Trafford match-winner Noah Okafor earned himself a brilliant new chant following Monday’s 2-1 win over Manchester United.

The goals capped off a brilliant individual performance from Okafor, who was a constant Leeds threat as hosts Manchester United went down to 10 men following Lisandro Martinez’s hair pull on Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Casemiro pulled one back for the home side but it proved little more than a consolation.

Okafor was substituted shortly after that header from the Brazilian, with his replacement Willy Gnonto and fellow substitute Ilia Gruev settling into the game well. Leeds eventually held out to claim a huge three points and enjoyed their historic win with a chaotic Old Trafford away end.

And Okafor was singled out for appreciation by fans after the game, with X account @ollyleeds1 uploading a video of a brilliant song being sung by fans on a bus. The chant goes: “Noah, Noah Okafor, the Whites have never had a player like you before. He went to Old Trafford on a Monday night, two at the Stretford End, they’re f****** s****!”

Noah Okafor reaction to historic Leeds United win

"I think that I can score and help the team,” Okafor told Sky Sports. “For this I am very happy and proud. But to every player, every staff member that is with us, a big compliment because we were fighting to the end and we deserved the three points.

"I think I hit well, I tried because if you don't try then the ball can't go in. I tried and scored my second goal so really happy about that. It brought us even more into the game and we knew we had to defend as a team. We did well so really, really excited and happy.

"We knew the [Man Utd] goal was not at the right moment so we had another 20-30 minutes to survive,” Okafor added. “We had to defend and attack as a team. We take this and we keep looking forwards."

Leeds can now prepare for the visit of Wolves to Elland Road full of confidence, having pulled six point clear of Tottenham Hotspur in 18th. Daniel Farke’s side will have the chance to pull nine points away from trouble with victory on Saturday, given Spurs don’t face Brighton until later in the day.
