Leeds United target Gonzalo Garcia has been told he can leave Real Madrid this summer.
Recruitment plans may have been accelerated slightly after Leeds United’s win at Old Trafford, though survival will still be at the forefront of Daniel Farke’s mind.
With that said, the summer window is fast approaching, and the Whites, regardless of division, will need to act fast to secure their targets.
Signing a new striker will be one of several priorities for Leeds, who have struggled for goals as of late.
And with Garcia linked with Leeds in the past, that interest may be reignited in the next few months at Elland Road.

But having started just six times in the league this season, there are question marks as to whether that was the right call.

However, Garcia’s time at Real Madrid could come to an end this summer, with The Athletic having reported that the LaLiga giants are open to his exit.

Any deal is likely to include a buy-back clause, similar to the situation that has unfolded with Nico Paz after his exit.

Aside from Garcia, Leeds had also been loosely linked with a move for Endrick, who was not part of Xabi Alonso’s plans.
The Brazilian has thrived on loan at Lyon, but the report adds that his future is expected to be at Real Madrid.
Endrick has managed 12 goal involvements in 16 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit, while Garcia has 13 in 39 appearances for Real Madrid.
It was claimed that it would take a fee in the region of £20million for Garcia previously, and it’s likely to remain that way this summer.
