Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola will leave the club at the end of his contract this summer, with a title-winning manager being eyed as his replacement, GIVEMESPORT sources can confirm.
The Spaniard took over at the Cherries three seasons ago and had been in talks over a renewal at the Vitality Stadium to extend, however, he has now opted to depart for a fresh challenge amid strong interest from multiple clubs across Europe.
It's understood that Bournemouth did 'everything in their power' to keep Iraola at the club, with negotiations taking part for the best part of 15 months; however, the 43-year-old's final wish has now been accepted, and respect remains between the two parties.
Bournemouth sporting director Tiago Pinto told GIVEMESPORT in October that there was no succession plan ongoing at the time to replace Iraola, as he was their 'first, second, and third option', but that has now changed, and there are several names being considered for the role.

GIVEMESPORT sources can confirm that former Borussia Dortmund manager Marco Rose has emerged as a leading contender for the role next season.
Rose, who won the Austrian Bundesliga twice with Red Bull Salzburg prior to his stint in Germany, is considered to be an exciting, attacking coach, and his style of play is likely to be a factor in the decision to consider him. He is also a free agent, having left RB Leipzig in March 2025.
Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna is also someone being considered for the role, with the Tractor Boys on the brink of a third promotion in four years, following relegation from the Premier League last season back to the Championship.
What Next for Iraola?

GIVEMESPORT sources understand that while Iraola has communicated his decision to move on from the Cherries, he does not currently have his next job lined up.
Tottenham Hotspur previously held a strong interest but they have recently appointed Roberto De Zerbi on a five-year contract. Manchester United have also held an interest, but Michael Carrick is believed to be in the driving seat for that role, while Athletic Bilbao are on the hunt for a new manager, with Ernesto Valverde set to depart this summer.
It's understood that Iraola is the leading contender for the role with the Basque club, who he played over 500 games for as a player, but there is no agreement in place currently with them or any other club.
