Evertonians are buzzing for the first ever Merseyside Derby at Hill Dickinson Stadium this weekend.
When the first fixtures were released last year, many instantly looked to see when Liverpool would be visiting HDS.
There was actually slight disappointment for some, upon learning that it would not be until gameweek 33.
You can only name one! Which one takes top spot for you? 🤩

But we’re almost there now, and it promises to be a real cracker of a game and occasion.
Everton are just five points behind Liverpool in the table, so the incentive is very much there to deliver a top performance that will yield three points.
It will be paramount for the Everton players to use the crowd to their advantage.
Hopefully there can be a repeat of the scenes we saw at the last home game against Chelsea – and it seems like there will be.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hailed Everton fans a few weeks ago for their efforts before the team played against Chelsea.
Dewsbury-Hall took to Instagram to upload footage of fans lining the streets to welcome the team coach, telling his followers that they had helped set the tone for the players.
And that certainly seemed to be the case, as Everton blew Chelsea away at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton are back at Hill Dickinson this Sunday to host Liverpool in the first ever Merseyside Derby there – and Toffees fan group, The 1878s, have announced (via X) plans for a major coach welcome and tifo display ahead of the clash.
The request is for fans to line Regent Road near the stadium ahead of the coach’s arrival.
The plan is to do the same thing as against Chelsea, in order to try and whip up that same kind of atmosphere, which was seen by many as the best all season at Hill Dickinson.
The 1878s are also planning a huge tifo inside the ground before kick-off.
Hill Dickinson Stadium could have its best moment yet
Everton have been a bit up and down at Hill Dickinson in its first season.
But that Chelsea game could well be the start of Everton really getting comfortable there.
Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium so far
Wins – 6
Draws – 4
Losses – 6
Goals scored – 21
Goals conceded – 19
The first ever Merseyside Derby at HDS really does come at a great time, with Liverpool having really struggled for consistency this term.
Quite possibly, if Everton can replicate the performance against Chelsea, then with the help of the fans Hill Dickinson could have its best moment to date.
