Liverpool team confirmed to face PSG in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
Arne Slot has rolled the dice as Liverpool aim to complete their latest European miracle against Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield.
The Reds trail 2-0 on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-final after last week’s first-leg loss in the French capital.
As Liverpool bid to complete an unlikely comeback, Slot has unleashed a strikeforce of Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak. The latter makes his first start in more than four months, having recently recovered from a broken leg. It is the first time that Ekitike and Isak, bought for a £125 million British record fee, have begun a match together at Anfield - and just the second since their respective summer arrivals.
It means that Slot makes the bold decision to bench Mo Salah, who scored in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Fulham in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister return for Curtis Jones and Rio Ngumoha. It appears that Liverpool will play a 4-2-2-2 formation, with Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez - in for Andy Robertson on the left-hand side of defence - providing the width from full-back.
Liverpool: Mamardashvili, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Isak, Mac Allister, Ekitike, Frimpong, Gravenberch.
Subs: Woodman, Misciur, Gomez, Salah, Chiesa, Jones, Gakpo, Robertson, Nyoni, Nallo, Ngumoha.
