Everton are seeing a lot of interest arrive for Vitalii Mykolenko ahead of the summer.
Mykolenko is set to become a free agent in the coming months, with no apparent movement being made on a potential new deal.
A big summer transfer window awaits Everton, with the possible departure of the Ukraine international set to add another need to the wish list.
Vitaliy Mykolenko’s contract expires in the summer, what should Everton do with him? 🤔
Offer him a new deal? Let him go for free? Sell him in January?

Bundesliga interest arriving for Everton’s Vitalii Mykolenko
According to Team Talk, Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig are showing an interest in the Ukrainian left-back.
This is a position where Everton are already light on options, with Jarrad Branthwaite having recently played in that position.

If Mykolenko were to leave at the end of the season, it would leave them without a natural senior option at left-back.
This is a situation that the Blues must avoid as they have already experienced issues with their depth at right-back.
Moyes has demanded more from Mykolenko in an attacking sense, having seen the defender provide just one assist this season.
Everton are already heading into the summer needing another option at left-back, but Mykolenko’s possible exit would double the requirement.
Everton face Mykolenko problem
The issue Everton have is that they need to find a left-back who can replace Mykolenko and provide more in an attacking sense.
However, the Ukraine international has proven to be a reliable option, who could act as a solid second-choice option.
European qualification could play a role in helping the Blues keep Mykolenko around, as that would require squad rotation.
But it may take some convincing if he has the option to join one of two very solid Bundesliga outfits.
Everton are going to need strong squad depth if they are to qualify for Europe, and having a player of Mykolenko’s ability to rotate would be a big boost.
