Real Madrid will clash heads with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night as they look to secure a win in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash. Los Blancos were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Girona recently, so they would be lacking in confidence going into this game.
Alvaro Arbeloa will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a whole host of changes to his first team for this clash. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Carreras could all play from the start of this game.

Defence
Andriy Lunin will operate in goal for the Madrid giants after conceding one goal in his last outing. Antonio Rudiger will resume his partnership alongside Dean Huijsen at the centre of the Real Madrid backline as they focus on keeping a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will try to prove his value as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras looks to make a difference on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before trying to offer some support to their teammates up top.
Raul Asencio will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham will make up Real Madrid‘s midfield. All three of them will have to retain possession well at the centre of the park if they want to engineer some inviting chances in the final third.
Aurelien Tchouameni is suspended for this game. However, Dani Ceballos will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Vinicius Junior will try to put his pace to good use on the left flank, while Arda Guler looks to weave his magic from the right wing. Both of them will hope to get in behind the Bayern backline at every chance they can get.
Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for the Madrid giants up top. He has to find a way to be a real menace on the offensive end of the pitch.
Brahim Diaz and Gonzalo Garcia will make up the numbers on the bench.
