Manchester United will aim to put their disappointing loss to Leeds behind them as the Premier League run-in continues. United face a monumental task in retaining their third place in the table, travelling to Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.
A trip to face Chelsea is up next and Michael Carrick's side will need maximum points. If they fail to win, Aston Villa and Liverpool could overtake them on points and goal difference by Sunday evening.
United will also be without Lisandro Martinez, who was sent off for a hair pull on Dominic Calvert-Lewin on Monday night. The Argentinian could face a three-match ban for the violent conduct, meaning Carrick will require more defensive shuffling by the weekend.
Transfer agreement reached
Altay Bayindir has reportedly reached an agreement to depart Old Trafford this summer to return to Turkey. The back-up goalkeeper joined in September 2023 from Fenerbahce for a fee of £4.3million.
However, he has managed just 17 appearances in two-and-a-half years and has deputised for the likes of Andre Onana and Senne Lammens. Bayindir had started a few games at the beginning of the season, but the signing of Lammens from Royal Antwerp saw him fall down the pecking order once more.

Turkish outlet Fanatik have reported that the 27-year-old has sorted personal terms with Besiktas, who had been linked with the 'keeper in January. It's understood that United will not stand in the Turk's way.
The transfer is therefore expected to be finalised at the season's end. With his contract running at Old Trafford until 2027, the club should collect a small fee for his departure.
Utd receive boost in £90m fight
United have received a well-timed boost in their fight for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers. Sky Sports France report that the 23-year-old is "very open" to an Old Trafford move if they do qualify for the Champions League.

European football is reportedly a key factor in the England international's decision-making for next season. Chelsea are also keen on the star but their current sixth-place standing could lend a hand to United's pursuit of Rogers.
Other clubs credited with an interest in the midfielder include Arsenal and Bayern Munich. Villa value Rogers at a whopping £90m, meaning United will be expecting to drop a decent transfer fee in order to fend off other competition.
With the World Cup also coming up this summer, the club may want to get a deal done quickly given he's set to play a significant role for England. Rogers has made 18 goal contributions so far in 46 appearances this season and could be the next big transfer saga coming this summer.
