West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen answered several interesting football questions in a recent interview.

Hammers fans will probably want to know all his answers, but particularly one about the club’s training sessions.

Bowen has now revealed that former West Ham teammate Lucas Paqueta did ‘the craziest things’ in training at Rush Green.

Jarrod Bowen reveals Lucas Paqueta stood out in training

Jarrod Bowen was asked the following question in an interview with GOAL: “Which player does the craziest things in training?”

The winger has played with many top players for West Ham and England, including Harry Kane and Declan Rice.

However, Bowen named ex-West Ham playmaker Lucas Paqueta, who left during the January transfer window.

Paqueta often frustrated fans with his inconsistency, but there were never any doubts about the Brazilian’s technique and flair.

It is a shame that the attacking midfielder lost his way at the London Stadium and departed for Flamengo over the winter.

Serious question – are you taking a peak Mateus Fernandes or a peak Lucas Paqueta in your dream midfield?!

Furthermore, Bowen admitted David Beckham was both his idol and the footballer he wished he could have played with.

Perhaps the Hammers captain’s most surprising response was about former Chelsea and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

Bowen explained that the Frenchman was “underrated” because “some of his goals were incredible.”

Finally, the England international admitted he would love to take one attribute from Lionel Messi’s game – presumably his dribbling.
