Robbie Earle thinks Forest will stay up this season
Speaking on The 2 Robbies Podcast, Earle believes that Forest have what it takes to remain in the Premier League beyond this season.
West Ham and Tottenham are the other two clubs battling it out, with Leeds likely to secure their survival this weekend when they play Wolves, following a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
Earle believes Forest don’t concern him when it comes to relegation and senses they will be alright in the fight for survival.
MORE FOREST STORIES
He said: “Every time I see Forest, I kind of feel like they’re going to be okay. They’re picking points up, the manager is okay, they’re still down there, and that’s an issue, but when I see them, they don’t look like they’ve got the look of a team that’s destined to go down.”
Forest take on Burnley this Sunday with a golden chance to take a huge step closer to Premier League survival and pretty much end the Clarets’ time in the top flight.
Tottenham face Brighton on Saturday night, whilst West Ham don’t play Crystal Palace until Monday Night Football, giving Forest a huge opportunity.
It’s nice to hear pundits say they’re not worried about Forest, but the sooner the threat of relegation can be averted, the better it will be for everyone associated with the club.
