With a release clause worth just £25m, signing Scienza wouldn't exactly break the bank for Leeds either, all whilst potentially becoming one of the best additions that the 49ers have made.
His ability to play in the No.10 role means that Farke will have the perfect role available for the South American, rather than switching back to a back four to welcome him into the side. It is simply a deal which suits all parties, especially if Southampton fail to earn promotion.
