Daniel Farke issues strong Leeds warning ahead of Wolves clash

Wolves head to Leeds on Saturday knowing their relegation fate could be sealed.

Wolves may be rock bottom and staring relegation firmly in the face this weekend - but Leeds have been issued a warning about what could be their ‘most difficult game of the season’.

A defeat to West Ham last week has left Wolves on the brink - while Leeds have massively bolstered their chances of staying up with a huge win at Manchester United.

It was Leeds’ first win over their old rivals in years - and they have a chance to move further away from the drop zone against Rob Edwards’ men on Saturday.

But despite Wolves having occupied the bottom spot all season - Farke has issued a strong warning to his players.

He said: “I'm staying humble, not being overconfident and celebrating already,.

"I'm proud of this win, and we take confidence out of this, but we don't forget where we're coming from.

"The momentum can change pretty quickly – we have to stay on it.

"I don't want to celebrate too much that we have created something really historical. I know we also achieved several records, last season – record goal difference, record points, record goals.

"Saturday will probably be one of our most difficult game during the whole season, because the expectations are high in the home games right now to win.

"I predict it will be a very difficult game and my focus is already to make sure that we deliver points in the next game."
