Andoni Iraola announced he is leaving Bournemouth ahead of the summer transfer window.

Man United are in a period of uncertainty at the moment, as manager Michael Carrick is currently the interim United boss, and it is unclear yet whether the Red Devils will make him the permanent successor to Ruben Amorim.

Manchester United are also set on improving their squad in the summer. It is understood that they may look at a couple of Bournemouth players, which comes after Iraola announced that he will leave Bournemouth at the end of the season.

Man United eye Kroupi and Senesi

Two positions that United are keen to improve are both in the striker spot, and in defence, as the Red Devils need someone who can battle against Benjamin Sesko for the striker spot, but also sure up the defence, alongside the likes of Matthijs De Ligt and Leny Yoro.

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are keen on two Bournemouth players who could help to transform their starting XI. The first name is 19-year-old striker Eli Junior Kroupi, who has impressed this season under Iraola in the Premier League.

Kroupi has scored 10 goals in 27 Premier League games; He has scored the same number of goals as Jean-Philippe Mateta, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Harry Wilson. He has an estimated market value of around £35m, but seeing as he is young and full of potential, the Cherries will likely demand more.

Marcos Senesi is also reportedly on Man United’s radar, as they are looking for a reliable and experienced Premier League centre-back to come in and add to the defensive options at Old Trafford.

Chelsea have been linked to the Argentine in the past, but it seems Man United are now looking to sign him. Senesi has an estimated market value of £20m, so United could get the duo for a minimum of £50m to £60m.

Man United could bring in Iraola too

Iraola is one name who has been mentioned as a potential long-term manager option at Man United, if they decide not to go with Carrick. Seeing as his contract will expire in the summer, Iraola will be an easy appointment, as he will be without a job.

The Spaniard would surely relish the chance to manage a huge club like Man United, but the biggest question mark around him will be that he hasn’t managed a top European club before.
