Charly Alcaraz will surely clean out his Everton locker sooner rather than later.
The Toffees may be planning for life without the Argentine midfielder as they look to reinforce their squad in the upcoming transfer window.
Udinese’s Arthur Atta is wanted at Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the 23-year-old French midfielder thriving in Serie A.
Southampton attacking-midfielder Leo Scienza is also a target for David Moyes ahead of the summer, with a £25million release clause in the 27-year-old Brazilian’s contract.
The Friedkin Group must take European football seriously if the Merseyside outfit qualify for it, and some serious investment will undoubtedly be required to compete in multiple competitions, but that may lead to the likes of Alcaraz walking out the door at the end of the season.

Injuries have arguably played a role in the Argentine national’s lack of game time and diminishing influence at the Blues in the current campaign.
There’s no doubt that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has cemented his place in the number 10 position, and if the Merseysiders go on to sign Scienza and Atta, they will surely have to think about offloading someone like Alcaraz.

While it’s great to see TFG getting plans ready for the upcoming transfer window, Everton have bigger problems to fix than their midfield options.
Moyes should prioritise the addition of at least a couple of full-backs in the summer, with a new number nine also high up on the wishlist.
