Beto’s attitude is the reason why he’s turned his Everton form around
Asked why he’s been able to turn his form around, Beto explained that he’s never stopped working on the training field to improve.
“I think it’s just because I don’t give up,” the former Udinese striker stated.
“I know people in my position would have given up. Me? Even if I go to the last game of the season and I only have one goal to my name, I will still be there, putting in everything I have to make it right. Until it’s over – why think if it’s good or bad?

“My last season was an example of how you can get rewarded for that. When you keep working and you give it everything, things will go for you.
“When something goes for you, like it did for me with the equaliser at Brighton, you get more opportunities to play, when you get more opportunities to play, your game understanding hits a different level and you get the confidence back. I believe confidence is the most important thing in sport.”

Jack Grealish said Beto is one of the hardest-working players he’s ever come across, and Moyes has echoed similar.
Beto has suggested he wants to stay amid rumours he could leave in the summer transfer window, so Moyes and his chiefs have a big decision to make.
They should certainly consider keeping him, as just having that type of character around Finch Farm will make others better.
Beto is a great role model for the younger players, as he consistently wants to improve and develop in spite of criticism.
