Crystal Palace have reportedly submitted an offer to Manchester-United-linked Andoni Iraola just 24 hours after he confirmed he will depart Bournemouth once the season draws to a close. The Spaniard has opted against extending his contract, bringing the curtain down on his three-year tenure at the Vitality Stadium.
Iraola has been linked with United, though they themselves seem uncertain about their managerial position. As a result, the Eagles have reportedly entered discussions, aware that Oliver Glasner will also be moving on this summer.
Marca reports that the club have made a multi-million-pound offer to Iraola and pledged to invest in their squad annually. The Bournemouth boss is understood to be weighing up the opportunity.

Palace lifted the FA Cup a year ago before going on to claim the Community Shield months later. They have since witnessed several of their key figures depart, with the likes of Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi moving on to pastures new.
Iraola will not be lacking in interest. Should those at Old Trafford decide against handing Michael Carrick the role on a permanent basis, the Spaniard is likely to feature on their shortlist.
Clubs in his homeland, including Athletic Club, are also said to be keen. Iraola secured 12th place in his debut season with Bournemouth before guiding the Cherries to ninth last term - the joint best finish in the club's history.

He's overseen some remarkable victories, including wins at Old Trafford in consecutive seasons. He's also orchestrated back-to-back wins at Arsenal.
Bournemouth are currently enjoying a 12-match unbeaten streak and occupy 11th position. Their form has thrust them into contention for European qualification, sitting merely three points adrift of Chelsea in sixth, which would secure a berth in next season's Europa League.
Iraola stated that, following his three-year tenure, it felt like the appropriate time to depart.
He said: "It has been an honour to manage AFC Bournemouth and I am proud of what we have achieved together. I'm thankful to the players and staff that I've worked with, as well as Bill, who have all made my time here so special.
"As for the fans, you have continued to show your fantastic support to myself and the team, and for that I will always be grateful.
"I feel this is the right moment for me to step away, but I will always carry fantastic memories of this club."
