Daniel Farke is a fairly reserved manager. He's not the type that will sprint down the touchline, beating his chest. Nor is he the type to throw endless fist pumps towards the home end at full-time.
So, when the Leeds United boss fell to his knees in celebration against Manchester United, it was a telling moment.
For the first time in 45 years, Leeds defeated their rivals at Old Trafford to move six points clear of the drop zone with six games left to play in the Premier League.
Add on the fact that they've got an FA Cup semi-final waiting for them and Farke begins to look like one of the managers of the season.
How Leeds ended 45 years of hurt at Old Trafford
When Man United escaped with a draw at Elland Road earlier this season, it looked as though Leeds had missed their chance.
They were up against a struggling, vulnerable Ruben Amorim side, who had endured plenty of humiliating days in the space of 12 months. Farke's side simply failed to take their shot, however.

Leeds United have hit the jackpot with one signing since their return to the Premier League.
Months later, they then had the task of squaring off against a much-improved Man United side - making that Elland Road affair seem even more costly.
Michael Carrick entered the derby with seven wins in ten games and the Red Devils were looking like one of the most free-flowing, attacking sides in the Premier League. What should have been routine in January looked incredibly tough months later, before Noah Okafor had his say.
The summer signing stole the headlines with a quickfire, first-half brace, before Lisandro Martinez's dismissal left Carrick pulling his own hair out, let alone Dominic Calvert-Lewin's.
Leeds' record against the top six will go down as one of the main reasons for their potential survival this season. Farke has gone from a man under pressure to a tactical genius who bravely transformed his side with the pressure heating up last year.

Several players deserve credit for how they've transformed with the German, but perhaps none more so than Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu. The midfielder has become an undoubted Premier League mainstay.
Leeds' Phillips and Dallas hybrid is shining bright
Look past the Okafor brace and the Martinez hair pull, plus other headlines, and Ampadu will be the player who stands out at Leeds.

The Welshman has grown into his role as captain, leading like a certain Stuart Dallas once did, like Liam Cooper of the Marcelo Bielsa era.
An astute defender like the aforementioned names, he has become a key cog in midfield this term. It would have been easy for the former Chelsea man to be swallowed whole in a physical division, but he is shining, shining so bright in fact that he is beginning to win the midfield battle on the biggest stage just like Kalvin Phillips once did. Farke, in trusting the 25-year-old, has killed two birds with one stone.

Ampadu once again played an important role on Monday, too. This time, it was Man United who were quietly shut down in the middle of the park, as the former Chelsea man strode towards history.

It wasn't an easy task for Ampadu, either. He had the task of stopping Bruno Fernandes. Ask the rest of the Premier League and they'll be quick to point out just how impossible that can be, even if the Leeds star made it look incredibly routine. It was a Phillips-esque performance, mopping up loose balls and winning 75% of his duels.
With six games left to play in the Premier League, Leeds have drawn at Anfield, drawn at Stamford Bridge and won at Old Trafford all whilst also avoiding defeat in the reverse fixtures. The only time that Ampadu did not feature was against Man United at Elland Road when he was suspended.

No matter what changes at Leeds, be it the system or personnel, it's Ampadu who has been a mainstay throughout the promotion campaign last season and what looks to be a successful survival campaign one year later.
At the peak of his powers, that's unlikely to change anytime soon, either. When Leeds enter the summer transfer window in the coming months, they'll be well aware that their midfield is already prepared to achieve far more than survival next season.
