Maryport Athletic U12s took part in a sponsored walk from Maryport Golf Club to the Moody Cow and back on Sunday, April 12.
The walk was organised to raise funds for the team's summer events, which include a trip to Premier League Newcastle United for a training session and then to watch a match.
Speaking about the walk, lead team coach Louise Pettitt said: "It’s great for the kids to have this opportunity.
"A few of our other age groups have been over the years and really enjoyed the experience.

"The kids are all a fantastic bunch and we just want to give them the opportunities to make memories with their friends."
The team enjoyed a milkshake at Moody Cow and also sweet treats from the owners before heading back to the Maryport Golf Club where the staff from the Green Lounge welcomed adults and children for refreshments and a game of darts and pool.
The team have been fundraising through various methods such as a Grand National sweepstake, football cards and a GoFundMe page which you can access here.
