Former Everton academy graduate Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move to Liverpool.
Gordon left Merseyside around three years ago after forcing his way out of Everton to join Newcastle United.
It has not taken the 25-year-old long to push for his exit from Tyneside, with a return to the north west on the cards.

Bayern Munich hold an interest in Gordon, but The Telegraph claim he would jump at the chance to join Liverpool this summer.

Gordon thought he was joining Liverpool last summer, but it was teammate Alexander Isak who ended up making the move to Anfield.
The Englishman has the opportunity to join Harry Kane in Germany this summer, with Bayern still in the hunt to lift the Champions League.

However, the report claims the boyhood Liverpool fan would leap at the opportunity to play in red if that was an option this summer.
Bridges have been burned between the Toffees and their former forward, with Everton mocking Gordon’s penalty miss against them last season.
It was not a particularly amicable parting between the pair back in 2023, when he forced his exit to join Newcastle.
Following an underwhelming campaign for the Magpies, Everton fans are seeing Gordon work the rumour mill as Newcastle supporters could be set to get a taste of their own medicine.
Gordon to Liverpool would make for furious Merseyside Derby reception
On his return to the club earlier this season, Gordon received an unpleasant welcome back to Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
However, if he was to make the move to Liverpool, the reception he would receive from Everton supporters would be on another level.
He may have grown up a Liverpool fan, but this is someone who spent over 10 years of his life at Finch Farm.
To throw that all away and join their bitter rivals would be a real statement to the blue half of the city.
