Daniel Farke will speak to the press this afternoon ahead of Leeds United’s Premier League meeting with Wolves at Elland Road.
Leeds United welcome Wolves to Elland Road next up and ahead of Saturday’s Premier League meeting, Daniel Farke will hold his pre-game press conference today.
Anton Stach and Joe Rodon both missed the game on Monday having picked up ankle ligament injuries during Leeds’ FA Cup quarter-final win at West Ham. Farke said last week he expects both to return in May but also did not rule out a speedier recovery, pointing to the quality of his medical staff.
The pair have since had a week to get their rehab programmes underway and Farke will be expected to provide an update today. It’s fingers crossed for something positive as Stach and Rodon will have an optimistic eye on next weekend’s FA Cup semi-final meeting with Chelsea at Wembley.
There will also be an update on Daniel James, who is currently out with an adductor strain and has endured a difficult campaign fitness-wise. Farke will also provide the latest on any fresh issues that might have been picked up this week, hopefully in a more positive press conference than last week on that front.
Okafor was the hero at Old Trafford, his quick-thinking double putting Leeds in dreamland at half-time. Farke could be given a chance to assess his marquee attacking signing’s impact this season and what he expects from the Swiss international between now and May.

Farke might also be quizzed on any selection headaches, with Ao Tanaka excellent at Old Trafford while Willy Gnonto and Ilia Gruev also impressed off the bench as Leeds defended their lead. The Whites boss has a tendency to keep a winning-XI intact the following game and few would argue against it.
Monday’s win was another big step towards survival but Farke won’t be getting carried away. Expect a typically level-headed response to any related questions, with full focus on a Wolves side who have improved in recent weeks and will be desperate to at least postpone their relegation for another week.
And on Wolves, Farke will get the chance to share his thoughts on their improvement under Edwards. He’ll also offer insight into how they might cause Leeds problems this weekend.
Daniel Farke is due to hold his pre-Wolves press conference at 2.15pm this afternoon. Stay tuned for live updates...
