Internationals: Mixed fortunes for three LFC Women players

Three Liverpool FC Women players were in international action on Wednesday.
Fuka Nagano and Risa Shimizu started as Japan defeated the USA 1-0 in a friendly.
The Reds duo were both substituted in the second half of the match in Seattle, which was game two in a series of three friendlies between Japan and the USA this month.
Meanwhile, Zara Shaw played the full 90 minutes as England lost 2-0 away to Switzerland in an U19 European Championship qualifier. That result ruled England out of contention for a place at the finals this summer.
