One Leeds United player in particular shone as the Whites managed to defeat their bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Daniel Farke’s side, who were hit with multiple injuries to key players, were spectacular and thoroughly deserved to return to West Yorkshire with all three points.

Ao Tanaka impressed for United in the heart of their midfield, with the Japanese international being reinstated into the team in Anton Stach’s absence.
But it was another Leeds player who caught the eye of Fabrizio Romano, with the journalist taking to social media to praise the player for his performance.
Fabrizio Romano highlights Noah Okafor’s purple patch
Okafor, 25, signed for Leeds from AC Milan over the summer for a fee of around £18million, making him the Whites’ marquee signing for their forward line.
Whilst the Swiss winger has looked lively whenever he has featured this season, Okafor has struggled at times with his end product, with the forward going 16 Premier League games without a goal or an assist earlier in the campaign.
However, the goal contributions have been flowing for Okafor as of late, with the winger scoring two at Old Trafford as Leeds secured a historic win.
Following the game, Romano took to X to praise Okafor, posting a quote from Farke saying, “Two days of teamwork, I took the risk with Okafor, and he delivered.”
Underneath this quote, Romano posted Okafor’s stats across his last six games for Leeds, with the forward recording six goal contributions across his last six appearances in all competitions, with four goals and two assists.
