Liverpool could reportedly sneak in and sign Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon as Real Madrid hesitate over triggering a buy-back clause.
The Reds may be in need of another centre-back addition this summer as Ibrahima Konate’s contract enters its final two months.
If Konate does not put pen to paper on a new deal, Liverpool will have to make a new addition, and according to TeamTALK, they are ‘on alert’ over a situation developing with Ramon.

Liverpool could snatch Jacobo Ramon
Although they will have Giovanni Leoni and Jeremy Jacquet in situ next season, Liverpool will need another option if Konate is to leave.
According to TeamTALK, Ramon is one of those being watched after an impressive campaign with Como.
Having joined the Italian team from Madrid last summer, Los Blancos reportedly inserted a buy-back clause for the 21-year-old.
However, with a plan to prioritise Antonio Rudiger’s extension at the Santiago Bernabeu instead, Madrid have reportedly told Ramon that they have no intention to sign him until 2027 at the earliest.

This is said to have alerted Liverpool, along with a host of top Premier League clubs, some of whom have already been in touch with the defender’s representatives.
Ramon is claimed to be happy at Como – and keen on a return to Madrid – but with the Spanish giants hesitating, his future is reportedly open this summer.
Carlo Ancelotti once praised Ramon as being a ‘quick and powerful’ defender who had a long-term future at the Bernabeu.
But with Ancelotti long since gone, the youngster is said to be ‘increasingly open’ to looking elsewhere this summer.
