Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon is one player Chelsea could make a move for in the upcoming transfer window.
It was recently claimed that Chelsea may enter the £80m race for Gordon, who is also thought to be attracting interest from their London rivals Arsenal.
The Magpies will not want to sell the 25-year-old; he is one of their best players. However, they may have no choice.

Anthony Gordon will look to leave Newcastle this summer amid Chelsea interest
According to The Telegraph, Gordon is keen to explore his options when the transfer window opens.
The same outlet states that while Gordon is yet to tell Newcastle that he wants to leave the club, the feeling inside St James’ Park is that the Englishman will look for a move this summer.
In the current campaign, Gordon has not been as consistent as he was in his first full season at Newcastle.

In 26 Premier League games, the England international has scored just six goals and has only provided two assists. However, that does not seem to have deterred the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.
This is not the first time that the Blues have shown interest in him. Chelsea wanted to sign Gordon from Everton in 2022 before his eventual move to Newcastle in 2023.
Chelsea should make move for Anthony Gordon
Left wing has been a bit of an issue for Chelsea this season. Alejandro Garnacho has only been able to score one goal in the Premier League, while Jamie Gittens has struggled with a serious hamstring injury.
No one has been able to tie down the spot on the left-hand side. Gordon, though, certainly has the ability to and would be an upgrade on the likes of Garnacho and Gittens.
The former Everton man is quick, direct and capable of scoring goals. While Gordon has struggled in front of goal in the Premier League himself in the current campaign, he has netted 10 times in the Champions League, which is quite impressive.
If Gordon does push for a move this summer, Chelsea should be all over him.
