Everton are after a new right-back this summer – and interest in Milan van Ewijk is being pushed again.
It will be a busy few months for The Friedkin Group, as they seek to prepare David Moyes for the 2026/27 season, which could yet include European football.
Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?

Everton sit eighth at the moment, and even Champions League football is not out of the question just yet.
But regardless of whether Europe will be in the cards or not, Everton will be going after a new right-back, which has been identified as a priority position.
And in recent days, Everton have again been linked with Milan van Ewijk, who’s a player who is highly thought of by Frank Lampard.
What Frank Lampard said about Milan van Ewijk as Everton eye move
Van Ewijk has been with Coventry City now since 2023, signing from Dutch club Heereveen.
He has become a very popular player at the Ricoh Arena, and has established himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in the division in recent times.

This term, he’s laid on eight assists for Lampard’s side, taking his total to 17 in 141 matches for the club. He’s also scored four goals since joining.
Amid the links (Sports Boom) to Everton, it’s worth pointing out that former Toffees manager Lampard is a big fan of the player.

He said of van Ewijk after the full-back made an error against Sunderland in the Championship semi-final first leg play-off (via Sunderland Echo): “He’s been brilliant for us this season.
“He’s been absolutely amazing; he plays every game and has had a fantastic season for us. Mistakes happen in football.”
Lampard then said of him a couple of months ago (via BBC Sport): “He’s [van Ewijk] a very, very good player and a great player to work with from my point of view, as he’s forever engaging with you, and I think there’s more to come from him
Van Ewijk well worth consideration but he won’t come cheap
So Lampard is a big fan – and there is definitely scope for him being a top target for Everton, who are crying out for a new right-back signing.
His attacking output is clearly very good, but van Ewijk has also impressed defensively during his time in the Championship.
And Lampard talking up his durability may also be something that appeals to Moyes.
He barely ever misses a game for Coventry, and that kind of trait is underrated in any player.
The potential stumbling block for Everton may be his price tag, with Sports Boom suggesting his valuation is around £25 million.
Given he signed a new contract earlier this year, Coventry would probably be well within their rights to demand such a fee.
